FRIENDS OF PITLOCHRY RESPONDERS

Saving Local Lives Is Hard Work PCFR Needs Your Help

BACKGROUND:

If you're a local resident or a visitor, you will understand that our living far from hospitals means it can take the Ambulance longer times than they would want, to arrive at a crisis, as they can be many miles away when they receive a 999 call

Our service benefits everyone within Pitlochry and the outlying rural areas, with vital life-saving skills

No-one earns compensation for their critically important work.

We are a non-profit Charity, and as such we need to be raising funds constantly in order to keep the First Responders properly equipped and fully able to help

PCFR is in need of a few friends to help us, to actively participate behind the scenes!

We would love for you to join our newly forming volunteer group, the

"Friends of Pitlochry First Responders"

PCFR hopes locals are willing to lend us a hand from time to time, whenever necessary.

Cyber Security In Place Ensures

Positive Digital Interaction

METHOD:

You would join our "Friends" email group, and whenever need arises for your time, hands, capabilities or organisational skills, we would inform the Friends and you would reply with your preference of possible tasks, your availability or decline.

BEING A FRIEND INCLUDES:
  1. 'Manning' a stall at an event, markets, festivals, supermarkets, the Highland Games or any other fundraising ventures. Bring a feast, flask and a friend!

  2. Collecting donations from the public, friends, visitors and locals; as the collection boxes always need rattling, filling or fetching from various local shops. We also have QR (quick-response) Codes so even cashless donations via PayPal and Debit/Credit cards are possible to make by anyone with a smartphone. We will also have a Zettle Point-Of-Sale device to enable contactless payments (tap and pay)

  3. Fundraising event equipment, like tables, chairs, the weatherproof gazebo, information banners, money-boxes and any merchandise needs gathering, taken to site and assembled or installed

  4. We would occasionally need Friends to occupy an information booth or stall, chatting to people and enlightening them about PCFR, and proffering up the collection boxes and QR Codes for donations

  5. Raising funds with fresh approaches and creative ideas and bringing forward any good opportunities or viable leads. Fundraising experience would be a boon!

  6. Market stalls, jumble sales, bake sales, raffles et al, anything anywhere, to help raise community awareness and funding

  7. As time goes on, there will undoubtedly be more activities one could add to the list. Your thoughts and ideas would be welcomed

Please Ensure Your Contact Details Are Correct Before Sending Your Message

Messages sent here or externally will all go to: info@pitlochryresponders.org

We would fully inform you of the Charity's role and function, so you would be able to answer public questions appropriately, discuss relevant topics, be friendly and gain their interest to donate to the cause; one which benefits all of us in the Community.

Helping Hands Are What We Need. If we were a Theatre, then it's backstage crew; willing stagehands with a committed interest, whom we seek!

PCFR would truly value help from caring and responsible individuals, who may just have some spare time occasionally, and be willing to be a Friend of PCFR
